RepertoireFrom the 1980's the Corpo Bandistico di Isola Vicentina begins to study and research a new repertoire which is completely different from what has been done in the past and gives a new image to the group. The old concept of band which plays only marches and opera is replaced by new pieces which captures the public attention and are closer to the public taste. For the pieces played during concerts the repertoire is made of Latin American, swing, soundtrack, funky and even pop pieces sung by a singer. For what concerns the parades the groups focus on the visual aspects (posture, order, synchronism, choreography) as well as studying pieces which are well known by the public. In both cases the audience is pleasantly entertained without loosing the quality of the performance. |
